A classic in it's own right, the RG series are cornerstone of the Ibanez legacy. As the industry leader in 7 & 8-string production guitars, Ibanez is considered the premiere innovator of technology and development for down-tuned performance intstruments. This knowledge and experience has led to the creation of the RGIB Baritone 6-string.
Iron Label -
With metal and nothing but metal in mind, we modded and tweaked until we got to the heaviest-hitting metal axes we’ve ever built. For ultimate playability, we took our legendary super-thin, ultra-playable Wizard neck, and upped the ante to a Nitro Wizard – just as fast and comfortable but with added road-tested durability. Whether it's a 6, 7, 8 or 9-string, every Iron Label axe is equipped with American-made EMG® or DiMarzio® pickups. Purposefully Spartan, you won't find a feature here that doesn't contribute directly to a bone-rattling and skull-crushing tone.

Nyatoh used as the body wood provides a rich mid-low end.
EMG® 60 / 81 pickups
The EMG® 60 neck pickup packs plenty of output with a balance of classic, thick tones: boosted mids, big lows, and fat highs. The EMG® 81 bridge pickup gives detailed intensity, incredible amounts of high end cut, and fluid sustain.
Gotoh® MG-T locking machine heads
The Gotoh® MG-T locking machine heads achieve incredible tuning stability, cutting down string-changing time.
Gibraltar Standard II bridge
The Gibraltar Standard II is a simple fixed bridge designed provide optimal transfer of each string's vibration and its smooth surface maximizes playing comfort.
